Stainless steel 317L pipe fittings are manufactured in compliance with ASTM A-403 and ANSI B16.9 / 16.28/ MSS SP-43 / Welding Bevel Standards ANSI B 16.25.
We specialise in the manufacture and supply of SS 317L pipe bends in both standard and non standard sizes, with bending radius of 1D to 10D or any other custom bending radius. We offer ex-stock delivery of various standard size and type SS 317L pipe fittings, SS 317L flanges and SS 317L pipe bends. Our specialty is to manufacture and supply large size fabricated 100% radiography tested SS 317L elbows, SS 317L reducers, SS 317L tees and SS 317L large diameter fabricated pipes.
Stainless steel 317L is commonly referred as UNS S31700, and is primarily comprised of 18% to 20% chromium and 11% to 15% nickel. 317L is molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steel similar to 316, but with higher molybdenum content.
317L offers higher creep, stress-to-rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures than conventional stainless steels. It is a low carbon grade which provides resistance to sensitization during welding and other thermal processes.

Marking & Packing
Products are packaged to ensure that there is no damage during transit. In case of exports, standard export packaging is done in wooden cases. All fittings and flanges are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, Degree and our trade mark. On special requests we can also, make custom marking on our products.
Quality Assurance
At Gautam Steel, all fittings and flanges are subject to strict inspection at each stage of the production process, from starting material purchasing to product dispatch. They are visually examined for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, DIN, EN, and JIS codes and standards. Upon request, official certified Inspection Agencies can be called in to witness the material reports, dimensions and quality conformity of products.
